A dreamer arrested in sleep With nightmares corrupting his head He believes himself to be awake He opens his eyes but they're closed in his bed A sleeper trapped in a dream Living a loop on endless repeat He wakes up and relives it again He wakes up and relives it again Dreamer awake from your sleep Your nightmares have leaked from your head Awake, arise Awake, arise Some will wake with me Our hope is not a dream We'll brace the seas Our hope is not a dream Fire hidden in the tress Our hope is not a dream Our hearts will burn and bleed Our hope is not a dream

Bury your light but keep it lit Yes, the sun will rise But it will be a long time Until we feel its warmth on our skin You can climb the mountains to chase it Or you could just dig in This is my home, it's always been I'll see the day through this night Bury your light but keep it lit

about

Dark times coming, y’all. Keep your fires lit and share them with those in need.

This is the first in a series of EPs we are putting out to help raise money for some groups that are going to need it in the next four years. Without getting too soapbox-y, the Trump administration threatens to strip many communities of their rights, safety, and dignity. We want to help fight against these aggressions. There are many ways to do so, but with these EPs, we are using what little visibility we have to contribute to organizations who will protect the rights of those who are threatened.

ALL MONEY COLLECTED FROM THIS EP WILL BE DONATED TO THE ACLU. While the base price to get the EP is $2, we will happily collect extra should you want to donate more. Again, we aren’t making any money from this and we will pay the percentage Bandcamp takes from all sales out of our own pocket to make sure anything you give for this EP goes to help defend civil liberties in a time when they are under attack.

Contact us or visit our Facebook page if you have any questions or want to learn more about what we are doing with this project.

IF THE ALBUM FILES WILL NOT EXTRACT PROPERLY DUE TO LENGTH, RENAME THE COMPRESSED ZIP FILE TO "SBBC-TooMuchHaHa" AND THE FILES SHOULD EXTRACT PROPERLY. As usual, computers don't like our titles.

about

The Sad Bastard Book Club San Francisco, California

Four people in a tiny San Francisco room playing overly loud doomy folk music (post-americana?) singing songs about the fibrodysplasia of the green world, animal rebellion, and the hope that maybe, just maybe, if we don't destroy everything first you might have the chance to pet a wolf before it tears your throat out in a vengeance killing. ... more
